Step 4 Choose the Kodi addon that you would like to uninstall. Step 3 Click All or filter how you would like to find the addon that you want to uninstall.
That's basically what kodi is doing as well. Step 1 -From the home screen, scroll down and click Add-ons. Then stop your current tvheadend (via systemctl stop headend42), unzip the file in /storage/.kodi/addons, make sure all files in the bin subdir have executable permissions (otherwise to a chmod +x /storage/.kodi/addons/headend42/bin/*), then start it via "systemctl start headend42".
