It was one of the earliest clone units to be founded. The Corps was founded during the First Battle of Geonosis. The battalion was mainly assigned to arctic, desert, space and hazardous missions and battles, to whom most squads and battalions did have the training and equipment. Commander Jet was the one who designed the original markings for the Clones who wore Phase 1 armor (including himself), as well as the unique Phase 1 Spec. consisted of Galactic Marines (Phases 1 and 2), and Spec. Blackout led a Special Ops Unit responsible for undercover missions and espionage.
Jet led a special division of Flametroopers who were used in the second battle of Geonosis beside them he also led standard Troopers wearing the same armor as he did. The Special Ops were led by Battaillon Commander CC-1993 "Jet" and Legion Commander "Blackout". , The Galactic Marine Infantry led by Bacara and Keller and then the Special Operators (Special Ops). In total there are 4 known sections inside the 21st Nova Corps. These costumes must be approved by the LMO with guidance from the detachment experts.The 21st Nova Corps were an elite corps of Clone Troopers led by Jedi General Ki Adi Mundi.ĭirectly under Ki-Adi-Mundi was defective clone commander, CC-1138 "Bacara" who was commanding the Galactic Marine Infantry besides his deputy Senior Commander CC-1171 "Keller" who led a Legion of Galactic Marines specialized for arctic environments known as the 44th Arctic Legion.
